The AmCham-Togo Foundation will serve as the charitable arm of AmCham-Togo, modeled after successful practices of AmCham chapters in other countries. Its governance structure and operational model will be designed in consultation with the AmCham-Togo board of directors and with input from the U.S. Embassy in Togo.
For long-term projects, AmCham-Togo may consider programs such as educational support, healthcare initiatives, or facilities for underprivileged children. The specific focus areas will be determined in partnership with experts and local organizations to ensure that projects are implemented effectively and sustainably.
In parallel, the foundation will continue AmCham’s tradition of supporting charitable causes through fundraising and donations.
